Our Story

Hope Advising is named after Valerie's grandmother, Hope, the person she trusted most for real, honest advice. She had a way of listening without judgment, telling the truth with kindness, and helping people find clarity when things felt uncertain. That spirit guides everything we do.

Hope Advising was built for small business owners and nonprofit leaders who often carry the weight of people decisions without enough support. After working across a wide range of industries, Valerie saw how many organizations were expected to navigate complex HR challenges without the time, tools, or guidance they truly needed.

Today, through services like HR on Tap™, fractional HR support, and leadership training, we help organizations make thoughtful decisions, build strong systems, and create healthier workplaces. We show up with honesty, care, and practical guidance because people deserve HR support that feels human.
